Make sure you are on the right blockchain? Im not sure how Metamask deals with this but i use BiFrost and you can select a diff chain and all balances show zero unless you have bridged funds.

Open a Bitfrost wallet. Send all your Flare there, wrap it and delagate it. Every Epoch you receive some Flare, wrap that and repeat. All your remaining airdrops will be sent to your Bitfrost wallet from then on.

Make sure you are on the right blockchain? Im not sure how Metamask deals with this but i use BiFrost and you can select a diff chain and all balances show zero unless you have bridged funds.
